Sydney Thunder squad member Trenaman was a shoo-in to captain the ACT/NSW Country under 18s women, having previously led the Australian under 19s and represented Australia A, while former Wagga RSL star Staines has been named as a wicketkeeper-batsman for the under 19s men.
Promising Hay junior Rupert Lilburne will join Staines in the under 19s side while Oaklands fast bowler Gabrielle Sutcliffe and Wagga RSL’s Erin Hogan have also been included in the under 15s women’s squad.
