Hull out-polled experienced Hawks midfielder Chris Gordon to claim the award for the second time.
It was the second time in three years he’s claimed the league and club double, repeating his 2016 effort. His combined club and league votes ensured he took home the Hawk of the Year award for the footballer in any grade who achieves the best record across both counts.
Young backman Tom Pocock was named EWK’s most consistent after a season which saw him named the Farrer League rising star.
Samara Clarke took out the Hawks’ A Grade netball best and fairest award, from Sidney Gillard.
Lindsay Gillard was EWK’s volunteer of the year and Best Clubman while Hayley Middleton was awarded the women’s equivalent.
