Margosis has been a model of effort and impact in his two seasons at the Bombers and the vice-captain was recognised with the honour of the major club award in a premiership-winning season.
Playing in the midfield or on a back-flank, Margosis stepped up in some big moments in key games and, in a team which saw plenty of changes throughout the season, was a major factor in Marrar’s ability to go through 2018 dropping only one game.
He finished ahead of the exciting Brad Moye, whose runner-up award comes after he was third in the club best-and-fairest last season.
Jackson Moye was most consistent, ruckman-forward Nick Molkentin won Players’ Player and last year’s best-and-fairest, Jack Reynolds, was best in finals.
Sophie McRae won Marrar’s A Grade netball best and fairest after leading the club back into finals.
The Bombers also bestowed life membership on Cathie Fox and Brendan Pattison for their contributions to the club.
