Here is a list of activities, all in one place, which might make it a bit easier to fend off any holiday boredom.
1. Spring Jam
Kids will be able to lose themselves in the fun and excitement of Spring Jam, a new children’s festival that combines circus acts, adventure play, interactive fun, live entertainment, safaris, treats and more.
Spring Jam will have a range of zones across the Botanic Gardens, including:
- Big Top featuring two ticketed children’s performances (all ages)
- Main stage with free, live entertainment (all ages)
- Active/outdoor kid’s area with free activities/entertainment (five to 12 years)
- Workshop zone with free activities/entertainment (two to four years)
- Chill-out zone with food vendors, tepees, installations, information tent, activities for toddlers and ample seating
The ticketed Big Top will feature performances by Children are Stinky, fresh from their five-star show and children’s choice award at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Children are Stinky delivers daredevil stunts, incredible acrobatics, lightning fast hula hoops, and loads of laughs. And it’s not just all for kids – the show is set in the 1990s with plenty of throwback laughs and nostalgia for mums and dads.

2. Children's Weaving Workshops
Let the children get in touch with their creative side by weaving their own products.
Fiona Durman started Ashculme Textiles with her mother, Roswitha Spence, to sell their products and teach people the art of weaving.
The classes are run as small groups to allow the budding weaves to settle in quickly and have plenty of individual attention.
They will also be exploring wool carding, plying, dyeing the yarn and some simple sewing stitches. Best part is, absolutely no experience is necessary.

3. Baking classes at Uranquinty
This is perfect for the keen bakers.
Quinty Bakehouse started their Kids In The Bakery program in 2005. The budding chefs will get to bake their own fresh products either sweet or savoury.

5. School Holiday Horse Riding Program
The team at Belisi Equine Park promise an exciting and engaging educational activity for your children offered in a safe, fun environment.
No riding experience is required.
The program offers lots of activities including horse safety, horse care and horse riding and is suitable for those with some riding experience, as we modify the format to suit the needs of our students.

6. Family Movie Wednesday
Each Wednesday of the Spring school holidays they'll be putting out plenty of comfy chairs and showing a family-friendly classic movie on their big screen in the downstairs Children's Area.
Kids and adults are welcome to come along and share in a mini-cinematic experience.
Shaun The Sheep Movie will be showing Wednesday, October 3 at 10.15am
Diary of a Wimpy Kid will be showing Wednesday, October 10 at 10.15am

7. Junior Chef
Everyone can be a Junior Master Chef. These classes are both fun and educational, where students get to roll up their sleeves and create tasty dishes that they can recreate at home.
On the menu:
- Tomato and Basil Bruschetta
- Spinach and Ricotta Cannelloni with tomato Ragu
- Milo Tiramisu

8. Wagga Fun Factory
Let the tuckers work out their energy supply.
Bounce and play on a huge range of jumping castles, interactive games, rides and amusements. There are three sessions daily with limited spaces to ensure everyone has a great time without long queues.

9. Oasis School Holiday Program
Come and join them for the school holiday fun with experienced staff running activities in Bolton Park Stadium and inflatables at the Oasis Aquatic Centre.
