Located in the Sturt Mall shopping centre, the business was established in 2011 by the current owner and is a member of the Foodco Group.
NIA Harcourts are running the business listing, which is for sale at $120,000, including stock.
John Evans from NIA Harcourts said Muffin Break “continues to prosper” as a leading bakery cafe with over 320 stores worldwide.
“The benefits are the shopping centre upgrade and we see the franchise group as Foodco, being a strong and reputable group,” Mr Evans said.
“Foodco haven’t been caught up in adverse media stories that have surrounded other hospitality groups recently.”
According to Mr Evans, the owner has another business and is wanting to take a break from operating two.
“The existing staff will be carried over, which is generally favoured by new buyers,” he said.
The store boasts dominant retail exposure resulting in high foot traffic and modern facilities, however Mr Evans said he could not be certain whether the listing will be snapped up by a new owner quickly.
“It’s always hard to tell with business sales as it’s a bit more of an unpredictable market, compared to the residential market,” he said.
This comes as one of only two major Mexican-food outlets in Wagga, Guzman Y Gomez on Baylis Street has been listed for sale at $390,000.
The catalyst for GYG’s sale listing is due to family reasons.
