About 20 cars were on display at the McDonald’s car park for the annual weekend.
President of the Riverina Mini Car Club Scott Yates has traveled to Wagga from Canberra and said he has owned up to 42 Minis since his first.
“I bought my first Mini in 1991 and this was my first car and I’ve had one ever since,” Mr Yates said.
“I love them because they’re a lot of fun and easy to drive, and they’re also easy to work on and they bring a smile to everyone’s face.”
Mini fans traveled from the region, including Tumut, Albury, Young and Narrandera.
Noel Barrington, a member of the club, said it’s a social weekend with “like minded or silly people”.
“I have three Minis at the moment, but my wife had one before me back in the 70s,” he said.
“I bought my first one about eight years ago, which I restored, and they are easy to park and you can fit more in the garage.”
