We hope you are enjoying your long weekend and that the football grand finals are going your way, no matter what code you follow.
As most people enjoy the three days off, plans are underway for major events and milestones around the Riverina.
The current class of 2018 is preparing to depart after seven years of high school.
Year 12 students have finished their exams, formals season has already started and students are preparing to say their goodbyes.
It is an exciting and terrifying time in an adolescent’s life as they prepare to leave behind their school years and enter tertiary studies or the workforce.
We wish all year 12 students in the Riverina luck.
While some are preparing to depart, others are preparing to reunite as former students from Wagga High school plan a 50-year reunion.
The former students are calling on their classmates to come to the reunion or contribute memorabilia as they prepare to commemorate 50 years since the end of their schooling.
A lot can happen in five decades and organisers are excited to share memories and events of the past 50 years.
Take care and stay safe this long weekend.
