Hugh Jenkins’ under 13s NSW Country side opened with a 2-0 loss to NSW White but bounced back to defeat Queensland Country 3-2 and Tasmania 4-0.
However, there’s still room for improvement after losing their fourth game 5-0 against Newcastle Jets.
Meanwhile, the under 14s NSW Country side featuring Ethan Watt and Daniel Castle have enjoyed mixed success.
An early 2-1 win over Queensland Country got the ball rolling but subsequent losses to NSW White, Newcastle Jets and Tasmania have put them near the bottom of the table.
Meanwhile, Vic Country representative Harrison Watson has been in goal-scoring for his under 13s side.
