TRAC thrashed Billabong High School by 64 points in the state final to record a comprehensive victory, 12.6 (78) to 2.2 (14) at Albury.
Earlier in the day, TRAC defeated Broulee’s Carroll College and Westfield Sports High to progress to the decider.
TRAC coach Mick Glanvill was proud of his team’s efforts.
“It was really good, actually. It was our second year in a row so a good effort,” Glanvill said.
“It was a good reward for their commitment and attitude because it started back in the start of term two with Currie Cup. They’ve done well, the boys, for the time and effort they have put into our AFL program.”
Luke Fellows, Sam McNaughton, Sam Stening, Joe Perryman, Jacob Manley and Lachie Crawford were TRAC’s better players on the day.
The state title came up after TRAC went back-to-back in the Currie Cup earlier in the year.
