Sharah Rose Mitchell, 19, was outside Glenfield Park’s Southcity centre on March 4 when a scuffle broke out between her group of friends and another group.
The fight quickly spilled into the centre’s foyer, where the group of women began punching each other.
Centre management later reported that the brawl took place during “peak shopping time” when a number of families and young children had to bear witness to the violent incident.
Police received calls from multiple concerned shoppers and bystanders, but by the time they had arrived the fight had moved on to a Tolland street, this time involving weapons.
Most of the shopping centre incident was caught on CCTV, helping police identify and apprehend Mitchell and her co-offenders.
Mitchell will return to Wagga Local Court in November for sentencing.
