The Coolamon teenager will be part of NSW’s side for the under 18s national championships in Capalaba, on the outskirts of Brisbane, next week.

“I’m a little bit nervous to be honest but very excited for the opportunity,” Walker said.
“Especially being my last crack at the NSW team before I turn 18.”
Walker booked his place in the squad after taking out the seven-a-side singles event at Dubbo last month.

The 15-year-old combined with her father to take out the RSL mixed championships earlier this month in what was her first real tournament.
