Electricity price scam
Having just received our (Origin) electricity bill I noticed the supply charge is $125.50 (or $502 per year). For the same period last year, the supply charge was $66.27 (or $265 a year) - an increase of some 95%.

With approximately 21,000 home in the Wagga district, electricity companies can expect to receive (scam) some $10 million in supply charges alone.
Whilst the Government has promised to have electricity prices reduced by $200/$300 a year by the end of the year, the electricity companies will certainly maintain their profits and therefore management bonuses will remain high.
I have sent a copy of this letter to our Federal member, Mr Michael McCormack, in the hope he can expedite his Government’s promise.

Water allocation a dry argument
How many of us can remember the story of the king and his new clothes?
And the same can be said, only a fool thinks that the government can change the weather by doing away with coal fire power station. And since we have closed how many power stations?
To cut the emission, so many tonnes have to be cut, and how do you weigh emission?
One cannot see or taste emission, smell maybe, but emission is plant food or CO2.
Then Australia has to do away with livestock to cut emission, 30 million sheep and 10 million cattle have to be done away with, or killed.
Will we become a country that relies on imported food and milk?
Let us not forget that it was our former Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull who came up with the Murray Darling Plan in 2007, in the middle of a drought, to take water away from farmers who produce a living thing.
We stopped growing rice on account that the price of water is too high. Farmers are producing crops of cotton that uses less water. And since we stop growing rice, and when we had all those rice fields with water, evaporation from the rice field, and now we are in drought.
Have you noticed the amount of water release from the Blowering Dam?
On August 3, Blowering released 5538ml and Wyangala released 2316ml.
Why so much water when we are in the middle of a drought and farmers in the MIA have 7 per cent allocation?
Australia is governed by educated city people who do not understand that climate change or weather is doing what it has always done since time began. There is time to plant and a time to harvest what has been planted.
The dryness of the season in 1828, when Charles Sturt explored the Macquarie, found the river had ceased to flow. The natives set fire to the great marshes as they were in a starving condition and the summer temperature in the shade was 129 degrees Farenheit and in the sun was 149 degrees Farenheit.
We are a sunburnt country of drought, bushfire and floods.
