First up on the football field, Turvey Park are aiming to go back-to-back in the third grade. The minor premiers tackle Coolamon who are gunning for the perfect finals series after three sudden-death wins.
Then, it’s Collingullie-Glenfield Park chasing an unbeaten season against Griffith in the twos. The Demons actually ruined Griffith’s hopes of a perfect year last year and will be hoping they don’t fall at the final hurdle themselves this time.
Of course the Demons and Swans meet again in seniors. Griffith won both home-and-away fixtures but went down in the semi-final and had to make their way in via the prelim.
In the netball stadium, Turvey Park have a big day with teams in the 17s, (v MCUE), C Grade (v CGP), B Grade (v Leeton-Whitton) and A Reserve (v CGP).,
But in A Grade, Wagga Tigers are chasing a third straight premiership. This year, as in 2016, it’s the Demons hoping to break their stranglehold on the title.
