Aidan Joseph Johns was caught by police driving with a suspended licence not just once but twice in one week.
He fronted Wagga Local Court for sentencing on Wednesday after he was caught behind the wheel on August 10 and 17.
Magistrate Brian van Zuylen said it was unbelievable that Johns would be so brazen as to commit the same crime just days after being apprehended.
“For the second one – you knew you were suspended, you were told by police, and then you decided to drive again,” Mr van Zuylen said.
“You’ll end up sending yourself to jail, and there are hundreds of people sitting in jail right now because they refused to obey the road rules.”
Johns was disqualified for three months and fined $400.
