Last Sunday’s semi final round produced a swathe of heart-stopping reserve grade fixtures that bodes well for an entertaining exhibition of grand finals in 2018.
Henwood Park will headline the Gardiner Shield decider after both the Hawks and Falcons emerged victorious in their respective semi finals.
The Hawks did it tough in a 3-2 win over South Wagga but the Falcons did it tougher, eventually prevailing over Lake Albert in a dramatic penalty shootout.
Meanwhile, Tolland will be looking to go back-to-back in the Blake Trophy with another grand final win over Wagga United, who beat Young 2-1 in their semi final to book their spot in the big dance.
Lastly, the Madden Trophy is well and truly up for grabs after Young stunned minor premiers Junee 2-0.
The Lions will face Tolland in the decider following the Wolves’ 2-0 semi final win over Cootamundra.
