Weir stopped short of saying his charges were robbed of a victory but queried the referee’s ruling on the injury time in which Lake Albert struck their last-gasp equaliser.
“I don’t know where the stoppages came from, to be honest,” Weir said.
“I mean, it’s over now and it is what it is, but I’m just not sure about the added time.”
The coach nevertheless gave a glowing review of his side’s efforts in the 3-1 loss, stating they “did everything right” against the Sharks.
“I thought my boys were outstanding and I think we should’ve won that game,” Weir said.
“I can’t fault them really, they played a fantastic game out there and gave it everything they had.
“I think the added time hurt us and so did a couple of decisions that didn’t go our way ... but I really can’t fault their efforts.
