O’ So Hazy drew barrier 14 of 15 in the $125,000 Benchmark 88 Handicap (1200m).
Connections hoped O’ So Hazy could produce a big run and catch the eye of any Kosciusko slot holders.
That will now be the plan for Wednesday at Warwick Farm, where O’ So Hazy will compete in the $50,000 Benchmark 70 Fillies & Mares Handicap (1200m).
She has 62 kilograms for Wednesday.
“She’s going good and everything, she has bounced back from a really tough run but I’m pretty sure we’re not going to go, not with that gate,” Spackman said.
The Kosciusko draw was held on Friday and the $1.3 million sprint will be run at Randwick on October 13.
O’ So Hazy resumed with a sixth placing at Wagga last month.
