Brad joined Marrar last season for an opportunity to play with his younger brother again but a freak injury robbed the pair of sharing the Bombers’ premiership together.

After a stellar first season at Langtry Oval, Brad suffered a collapsed lung in the second semi-final loss to Temora.

It left him watching on from the sidelines as Marrar upstaged Temora in the grand final to end the club’s 21-year premiership drought.

“I had to watch last year and yeah, you don’t like watching them kind of games,” Brad said.

“It will be real good to be out there. I didn’t have the pressure last year when you’re watching but I’ve got a bit this year. But I reckon the boys will all gel together on the weekend. It will be a tough game but hopefully we get over the line.”

The Moye brothers are no strangers to premiership success.

They played together in Temora’s 2012 and 2014 premierships. 

Brad also played in the Kangaroos’ 2013 flag, while Jackson added his third premiership at Marrar last year.

Jackson, 25, is looking forward to running out alongside his brother in another Farrer League grand final.

“It’s good to have him back. He’s a big in for the club,” Jackson said.

“He stayed another year so we could have another grand final together. He was pretty keen to hang around and play with us again.”

Brad, 27, joined the Bombers in 2017 to play alongside his younger brother.

“It’s good to be back playing with him,” he said.

“I knew he wanted to play league and he was going to go back soon so I thought I’d go to where he was and play another couple of years with him.”

Brad said it is a move he does not regret.

“It’s a good club. Everyone loves their footy and gets behind everyone, it’s good,” he said.

Jackson’s return to rugby league has been shelved indefinitely.

“I was going to go back and play league for a bit but it’s just a fantastic club so it’s just keeping us here,” he said.

Jackson will play his second game back from a broken collarbone. He will start on a half-forward flank for the Bombers and go through the midfield. 

Brad will play on a wing with his pace and long kick a weapon for the Bombers.

The boys cannot wait to get out there.

“Pretty keen. Not as nervous as I was for the one last year, it was massive, but it should be good. Keen to get over them,” Jackson said.
