Emergency services were called to the incident at about 12.20pm after initial reports that a female had hit her head on concrete.
Reports said it was 21-year-old female being found unconscious, a NSW Ambulance spokesperson said.
She was taken to Wagga Base Hospital.
The ambulance spokesperson said it appeared the female may have had a seizure before collapsing.
“Registered nurses were with the patient and crew members were saying it may have been a seizure in the middle of the road, interrupting traffic,” he said.
Wagga police also attended to manage traffic diversions.
As at 5pm today, a spokesperson from the Murrumbidgee Local Health District said the female was in a stable condition at the hospital.
