Wagga trainer Scott Spackman has accepted with O’ So Hazy in Saturday’s Benchmark 88 Handicap (1200m) at Randwick.
Connections hope O’ So Hazy can put in a performance worthy of catching the eye of any Kosciuszko slot holders.
The draw for the Kosciuszko slots will take place on Friday.
Jay Ford has been booked to ride, replacing Brooke Sweeney. O’ So Hazy has drawn barrier 14 in the 15-horse field.
O’ So Hazy returned from a spell with a first-up sixth placing in the Ian Reid Sprint (1200m) at Wagga last month.
O’ So Hazy is down to run in the final event on the nine-race card at Randwick. It will be a huge day with Winx in action, as well as a number of Everest-bound sprinters in the Shorts (1200m).
