Gibbons tied with Howlong product Anthony Miles to share the Victorian Football League’s (VFL) best and fairest award on 19 votes.
The Southern NSW pair finished three clear of Collingwood’s Alex Woodward and Werribee’s Sam Collins.
It was Gibbons’ second Liston Trophy in three years after finishing runner up last year.
The 23-year-old was also named in the VFL Team of the Year, in the centre, for the third consecutive season.
Gibbons, who plays for Williamstown, averaged 28.6 disposals, 12 contested possessions, seven clearances and 6.5 inside 50s across 18 matches for the season.
His latest achievement only strengthens his case for a chance at AFL level.
