Wagga City Wanderers coach Ross Morgan has been tipped to renew his role by the club’s top official despite finishing with the wooden spoon.
Morgan’s side lost 18 games from 22 outings with just two wins and two draws to their name this season but Wanderers director of football Brendan Flanagan says there’s no reason why they wouldn’t have him back in the hot seat.
“We’re 100 per cent keen to have him here again next season,” Flanagan said.
“We think he’s been doing a great job and it’s important to keep that going and have continuity heading into next season.
“Ross has worked hard with the players this year and we’d be very happy to have him back at the helm next season.”
Flanagan said the club would look to bring in “a few new players” for the 2019 season but was eager to retain the core bulk of this year’s side.
