Leeton United coach Mick Doolin says he’s not overly disappointed with his side’s elimination final loss to Young.

His beaten outfit were denied a semi final berth but Doolin refused to make excuses for the 1-0 defeat on Sunday afternoon.
“That was our best team out on the paddock and we left everything out there,” Doolin said.
“If we can’t win with our best side out there, we probably shouldn’t be playing in the next round anyway.”
Doolin admitted his side has plenty of chances to take the win but refused to point blame at any individuals.
“Young played well out there and they’re a good defensive side,” he said.
“We had a few shots go wide or over the bar late in the game but that’s what happens sometimes.”
In what was a physical affair, Leeton skipper Joey Fondecaro, Carmelo Trifogli and Adam Raso were issued yellow cards along with Young duo Jordan Callaghan and Patrick Hislop.
