A man charged with wounding his Ashmont housemate with intent to murder him last weekend has fronted court.

Darren Richard Woden, 45, appeared via video-link from a cell in Junee Jail on Wednesday, but did not enter a plea to the charge.
Police allege Mr Woden wounded the man on Thursday, August 30 at his own Callaghan Street property in Ashmont.
The man was taken to Wagga Base Hospital for treatment and is understood to be in a stable condition.
Mr Woden was also charged with two counts of destroy or damage property, with police alleging he damaged a car and smashed the window of a nearby property on the same day of the incident.
He is due to return to court on October 31.
