Hair-raising rides, tasty treats and crocodile encounters were all on the table for showgoers to enjoy.
Faith Lean, 10, said she was having a blast at the show.
“We are waiting for the crocodiles now,” she said.
“I don't know what’s going to happen but I hope that I can hold one.
“I can’t wait to go on the rides, I like the scary ones.”
Faith was rocking a feather hat from one of the show stalls.
“A really nice man made them and he had lots of cool things,” she said.
Her buddy Blake Durnan said he couldn’t wait for the crocodiles to come out.
Jeff Harrison from Forest Hill said it was his first time to the Wagga Show because he had only lived in the area for 12 months.
“I am just following my wife around,” he joked.
“The show has that real rural feel to it, which is great.
“I’ve enjoyed looking at the exhibits of photography and machinery.”
Anthony Attard, the owner of the Hawkesbury Working Kelpie Stud, said he is pleased with the turnout at the show.
“We put on demonstrations of the Australian working kelpie,” he said.
“The crowds have been very good, better than yesterday and better than last year.
“It brings the community together and with everything going on with the drought it’s a good thing that people can get out and socialise.”
