Football Wagga will hold its annual presentation night at Wagga RSL on Friday night where Jaiden O’Brien will enter the evening as a hot favourite for the competition’s best and fairest player.

O’Brien has enjoyed a magnificent season for Tolland, scoring 22 goals in 18 games to headline his side’s charge into the Pascoe Cup finals.
He is shortlisted alongside fellow finals players Lincoln Weir (Wagga United), Anthony Trifogli (Leeton), Patrick Hislop (Young) and Jamie Rankin (Lake Albert) while James Goode (Tumut), Kayne Cassidy (Cootamundra) and Isaac Cooper (Junee) have also been nominated for the top gong.
Tolland star Bernadette Blake will be another player to watch, having been shortlisted for Player of the Year in both the Leonard Cup and Gardiner Shield (men’s reserve grade).
Former Socceroos captain Paul Wade will be the guest speaker.
Wade has 118 appearances for the Socceroos, the 1988 Olympic Games, two World Cup campaigns, two National Soccer League championships and the title of 1998 NSL player of the year to his name.
