These spring holidays, we’re delighted to offer Crocodile Encounters, a unique event for children aged five and over, plus their accompanying grown-ups.
Crocodile Encounters will introduce participants to some of Australia’s amazing reptiles and amphibians, and everyone who attends will have an opportunity to see, touch and learn about lizards, pythons, turtles and, of course, crocodiles.
Participants will also learn about the value of biodiversity and the importance of conservation.
Crocodile Encounters has two sessions for kids and their carers to attend: Friday, October 5 at 2pm, and Monday, October 8 at 4pm.
Our venue for this very special program is the Historic Council Chambers at the Museum of the Riverina, and tickets are only $7.30 per person (that’s $7 plus a $0.30 booking fee).
- Don’t miss out! Bookings can be made at bit.ly/wwcl_croc, by phoning 6926 9700, or in person at the library.

IF YOU’RE not a fan of reptiles, don’t worry: the library will also be screening free family movies each Wednesday of the holidays: Shaun the Sheep Movie at 10:15am on Wednesday, October 3, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid at 10.15am on Wednesday, October 10.
