May has enjoyed a magnificent season for the Saints, winning the Farrer League’s Player of the Year award, that is voted by coaches on a weekly basis.
He beat Hull by one vote and the East Wagga-Kooringal ruckman is expected to be May’s biggest danger for the Gerald Clear Medal.
Hull will be looking for his second win in the award after taking home the medal in 2016.
In netball, North Wagga goal defence Ruby Porter has taken home the Marilyn Brooks Medal for the past two seasons and will be looking for an unprecedented third straight victory.
The Daily Advertiser’s Matt Malone will be providing live updates from the night right here.
