Target has recalled a variety of baby onesies amid fears the zip puller on the popular item of clothing could break, posing a potential choking risk.
The recall applies to Target-branded two-way zip coveralls bought from Target and Target Country stores, as well as online, between February and June.
Coveralls in all sizes, from New Baby to 12-18 months, and in 15 different prints, are affected by the recall.
The retail giant says the zip puller on the coveralls could break due to a “quality issue”. The broken zip puller may pose a choking/ingestion risk to infants.
Customers have been urged to return the onesies to a Target store as soon as possible, for a full refund.
“At Target Australia, the safety of our customers and their families is our highest priority,” Target said on its Facebook page.
“This is why we’ve decided to conduct a voluntary recall of a specific range of baby coveralls due to a quality issue.”
Any coveralls purchased after June 13 are not affected by the recall.
