The Sharks outclassed the Warriors in a 4-1 affair to maintain their unbeaten streak and send them hurtling into the final four.
Lake Albert let three early chances go begging at Rawlings Park before coach Mitch Tinnock found a breakthrough goal in the 33rd minute.
Tinnock bagged a second goal two minutes later when Henri Gardner broke loose down the left wing and crossed into the box for a simple walk-in, handing the Sharks a two-goal buffer at oranges.
Duncan Brodie was Lake Albert’s chief destroyer in the second half, producing two goals in the 53rd and 55th minutes respectively.
South Wagga’s Matthew Morrow scored a penalty in the 90th minute.
“We had a bit of fun in the second half but we got the win and it’s a good way to head into finals,” Tinnock said.
In Sunday’s other fixtures, Leeton United were spared an untimely upset on the eve of their finals campaign after holding Tumut to a 2-all draw.
Leeton were missing a host of regular starters, including captain Joey Fondecaro, Adam Raso and Erik Listmann, and the visitors shot out of the blocks with two early goals.
Leeton turned things around after half time with Munyaradzi Kawara and Luke Mandaglio finding the net to seal a scrappy draw and lock down fourth place.
Meanwhile, Cootamundra produced one of their best attacking performances of the season to draw curtains on their 2018 campaign.
The Strikers gave their fans plenty to cheer about on Sunday afternoon, racking up a 5-3 win over Junee in their final game of the year.
Mark Rogers, Kayne Cassidy, Matt Hoy and Nick Ashe scored for Cootamundra while Junee also conceded an own goal.
The Jaguars finished bottom of the Pascoe Cup table after losing 16 consecutive games.
