Ngambaa: inquisitive, curious, wanting to know everything is an exciting and innovative exhibition from students and teachers participating in the program of the same name. The Arts Unit, NSW Department of Education in partnership with the Art Gallery of NSW and Wagga Art Gallery, presents this fourth iteration of the program. During the program that ran through three terms, students learnt about Wiradjuri artists and their work and explored ideas of what home means for them through their own creative artmaking. A selection of the work produced culminates in the Ngambaa exhibition.

This program brought together schools from across Wiradjuri Country to engage with the collections of The Art Gallery of New South Wales and Wagga Wagga Art Gallery, and included opportunities for students and teachers to make connections with local Wiradjuri artists, artworks and language.
The reception and participation in the program has been truly amazing, with many wonderful outcomes for all participants. The six schools participating this year included Gundagai South Public School, Ashmont Public School, Brungle Public School, Kapooka Public School, Naradhan Public School, Temora Public School with students at each school creating an incredible array of diverse artworks.
