Uranquinty is organising a sale combined with a colonial costume theme.
Rhonda Palmer, co-organiser of the event, said she thought it would be a fun way for the community to come together.
“I love costumes and I miss those times when you could just dress up,” she said.
Ms Palmer said there will be a number of colonial features happening around the village on the day, as well as regular garage sales.
“We have a couple of reenactments happening, a convict walk, police chases, colonial games like apple bobbing and sack races,” she said.
“Last year when we had our village garage sale, it was a big success and this year I felt like putting a theme on it.
“We also have 35 garage sales happening on Saturday.”
Ms Palmer said it was a great way for the community to socialise.
“It brings families together and lets them chill out and enjoy the weekend,” she said.
“It’s also Father's Day weekend and a great way to go out and celebrate that.”
The event is set to kick off this Saturday from 9am with the garage sales and maps are available at Uranquinty Bakery. From 10.30am reenactments begin in Morgan Street.
