The Lake Albert youngsters emerged victorious during the regional knockouts, including seeing off local rivals South Wagga, before battling their way into the top four.
“They’re a talented bunch of boys and there’s a few big bodies in there,” coach Mark Crittenden said.
“They’ve gone pretty well throughout the knockout and they’ve won their past few games by a few goals, so it’s going to be pretty exciting for them to play in Blacktown.”
The side will travel to Sydney on Sunday night ahead of Monday’s semi finals and finals.
Lake Albert will take on Griffith East in their semi final at Blacktown International Sport Park with a win to guarantee them a crack at the coveted shield later in the day.
Crittenden said a number of players would stay on in Sydney afterwards to back up for representative softball.
