Junee’s Hayden Diggins, Gundagai’s Blake Dunn, Temora’s Hayden Philp and Tumut’s Zac Masters are all still in contention to take out this year’s Weissel Medal on Friday.
Diggins and Masters were locked at the midway point but the Blues enforcer has played down his chances.
Masters tipped Diggins to get the nod as Tumut slipped out of finals contention in the second half of the season.
Dunn keeps Gundagai’s hopes of winning a fourth straight medal win alive, after James Smart, Brett Eccleston and James Luff won the last three, but both he and Philp will need a late season resurgence after being off the pace when the votes were last released.
