Third-placed Tolland will need to dig deep to avoid a Pascoe Cup boilover at Rawlings Park on Saturday night.
The Wolves will host competition cellar dwellers Junee and are expected to win on paper but Daniel Lawrence’s side could be missing up to six regular starters, including Domenic Bertazzo and Matt Kelly.
A loss would see Tolland slip further behind second-placed Henwood Park on the ladder.
Meanwhile, South Wagga are out to reverse their fortunes against Tumut when they travel to Bull Paddock on Sunday.
The Eagles dominated the Warriors in their last encounter, posting a resounding 5-3 win at Wagga Showgrounds that would’ve been even bigger if not for a pair of late penalties.
Both sides are out of finals contention, however Tumut skipper Matt Lopez and his South Wagga counterpart Luke Nichols have both expressed their desire to finish out the season on a high.
