Yellow cards marred Wagga City Wanderers’ final game of the season against Nepean FC but coach Ross Morgan says there’s still a lot to like about the club’s future.
The Wanderers conceded two goals in the opening half and were eventually outgunned 3-0 by a side preparing for finals.
Morgan was nevertheless pleased with some aspects of the result.
“It was a very nitty gritty game with an end-of-season feel to it,” he said.
“But we managed to get a few young blokes out on the field which is a good sign as we look to build to wards next season.”
Duncan Cameron was red-carded in the second half following his second yellow card in a match featuring eight cards in total.
