The undermanned Demons kicked nine unanswered goals in the second half to run out convincing winners, 16.15 (111) to 4.6 (30) at Robertson Oval.
Collingullie-GP key forwards Luke Gestier (six) and Marc Geppert (five) combined for 11 goals as the Demons continued to build momentum towards the start of finals.
Gestier, the Demons coach, said it was a good win in difficult conditions.
“The weather was playing the biggest part, really, with how we could move the footy and use it. That was probably the trickiest thing,” Gestier said.
“Once we adapted to that we had a lot of inside 50s and the score was what it is. I was happy with the way we played.”
Ben Klemke and Lachie Moore were best for the Demons.
Matt Noonan kicked three of Tigers’ four goals and was one of their best, along with Shaun Campbell and Xavier Lyons.
Tigers now face a final round trip to Griffith to finish their season, while the Demons will round out their finals preparation against Narrandera.
