The 22-year-old will lead Aggies charge towards their first title in six years as they look to stop the unbeaten run of Waratahs at Conolly Rugby Complex on Saturday.
Duffy wants the side to relish their opportunity.
“An opportunity like this might only come up once in your life and we are going to make the most of it,” Duffy said.
“We’re going to enjoy the whole week, the whole Saturday and the whole week to come afterwards win, lose or draw.”
With the death of teammate Andy Stanham it has been an emotional back end to the season.
Duffy has been touched from the support the side has received including from some Wallaby legends.
“The support is very overwhelming but it is needed and is it confidence building,” he said.
The 23-point semi-final loss is the closest they’ve come this season.
However the five-eighth is looking to make the most of their last shot at their Wagga rivals.
“There is no reason why we can’t (win),” Duffy said.
“We aren’t going to settle for a lose and we are going to fight to the end.
“We’re here to win a grand final and enjoy it.”
Aggies showed plenty of heart to take a last gasp win over Leeton and it has given the team confidence they can do it on the biggest stage.
“Our maturity has grown throughout the year and it helped us in the back end of that game,” Duffy said.
“With 25 minutes to go we stuck our heads down, tightened up as a unit, figured out what worked for us, stepped up and were able to adapt to counter their footy.”
