THE Caravan Industry Association Victoria is encouraging all to attend the eighth annual Border Caravan & Camping Expo, the official industry event that brings all of the latest in the caravan and camping lifestyle to the border on August 24-26.
This year will include all the good things the expo has had before, plus great new initiatives to make it even better for loyal patrons, exhibitors and the broader community.
One thing’s for sure – this is the leading RV lifestyle show in North East Victoria and that has a lot to do with the beautiful venue, ample free parking and the impressive quality and variety of exhibits.
As always, the Border Caravan & Camping Expo has every type of caravan and RV on show, from budget-priced camper trailers, tent trailers and pop tops, to luxurious Motorhomes and fifth wheelers. There is also a vast array of camping, 4x4 accessories and specialist equipment to make the most of your next camping and caravanning holiday adventure.
Caravan Industry Association Victoria president Nat Schiavello said the association was proud to be part of an industry that contributed $2.1 billion to the Victorian economy and employed over 6600 Victorians in caravan manufacturing, retail, repair and servicing.

“As an association, by delivering regional caravan and camping expos we also contribute financially to the broader community and other industries,” Mr Schiavello said.
“With 90 per cent of all Australian-made recreational vehicles built in Victoria, our patrons are always guaranteed to see something new at the expo.”
Above all, this expo is a great family day out, with free entry for children under 15 when accompanied by an adult, plus loads of free fun for littlies on the weekend.
Much of this expo’s success is due to our great partners, and Mr Schiavello thanked the City of Wodonga, Wodonga Race Club, media partners and local businesses for their contributions.
“Many CIA Vic members have made a major effort to be part of this show, with many showcasing new products for the first time,” he said. “It means a lot to all of us to be made so welcome.
“I trust the annual Border Caravan & Camping Expo is an enjoyable day out for you and your family and I hope you find a bargain or two among the exhibits.
“I look forward to seeing you at the show – it’s the perfect place to ‘go make some memories’.”
