The Wagga woman died in St Vincent’s Hospital on Thursday, at the age of 27, after a short illness.
Ms Easton was born with cystic fibrosis, a genetic condition which primarily affects the lungs.
In 2011, Ms Easton underwent a lung transplant. Unfortunately, her body later rejected the new lungs and Ms Easton was awaiting the opportunity to have a second transplant.
Mum Christine has described her daughter as her best friend.
“I have had people coming up and telling me how much they were inspired by Tamara,” Mrs Easton said.
“She was just such a caring person. She never worried about herself. She was always asking other people how they were.
“Tamara was always so happy. She never changed, no matter what she was going through.”
Mrs Easton said her daughter was devoted to her family.
“Every day, she would thank me, or thank her dad, for everything we did for her,” Mrs Easton said.
Mrs Easton said her daughter would be remembered for her appreciation of anything with a leopard print, and for her care of the little dog she had nicknamed Bubba and cat Ariel.
Ms Easton is being remembered by her parents Michael and Christine and her partner Benjamin White. She was the sister and sister in-law of Nathan and Meggan, Helena and Michael, and Jamie and Arlan, and a devoted aunty.
A funeral service for Ms Easton will be held at the Wagga Crematorium chapel on Thursday, August 16, beginning at 1pm.
