The visiting Sharks were a class above their hosts at O’Connor Park, slotting three goals in the opening half to blow Adam McPhail’s men out of the water.
Ben Matthews, Henri Gardner, Matt Hoff and Kane Baumer scored for Lake Albert in a lop-sided affair.
“We were pretty happy with how we played … we created plenty of chances,” Sharks coach Mitch Tinnock said.
Meanwhile, Leeton United are back in the winners’ circle after piling the pain on bottom-placed Junee.
Leeton had their fair share of goals in a 5-1 win but could’ve scored more with a host of shots flying off the woodwork.
The result sees Leeton creep ahead of United into fifth place on the Pascoe Cup ladder with two rounds to play.
