It was a strong turnout by the Wagga and Coolamon communities on Sunday at the Big Bush Freeze to help raise funds for Motor Neurone Disease.

The annual event, which was held for the second time, was held prior to the match between the Tigers and Hoppers in the Riverina Football League.
The event is the major fundraiser for John and Wendy Keogh and Brendan and Joanne Gibbons’ The Grasshoppers team that takes part in the annual Daniher Drive, a campaign to find a cure for MND.
Among the 10 sliders were club legends, media personnel – including the Daily Advertiser’s Matt Malone – and Nationals MP Stephanie Cooke.
Tom Goss, who was the master of ceremony, said there were around “400 to 500 people” at the ground.
Mr Goss said the fundraiser for MND would be an annual one moving forward.
“It’s a really good event,” he said.
“The communities here are always supportive as it’s for a good cause,” he said.
