The Phantoms lost Moji Waqa late in the first half for repeated team infringements and were momentarily down to 13 men when Joe Ratu was given his marching order right on the break.
Ratu and Ag College number eight Ben Brooke were both yellow carded as tempers flared on the stroke of half-time.
Leeton then played without centre Nick Patterson late in the game as the Phantoms continued to draw the ire of Donelan.
Ag College have a number of injury concerns heading into the grand final with Waratahs.
Will Whiteley and Jock Ward both came off early while Darcy Booth didn’t tackle Leeton.
