The bitch returned to form at Wagga on Friday to take out on the third heat of the Ladbrokes Back Yourself 0-2 wins (320m) series.
She hadn’t missed the top four in her first four starts before two down the track efforts.
However after a freshen, she was back in top form.
“She hasn’t had a run for about six weeks but has come back fresh and come back good,” Strutt said.
A paddock incident forced Bull’s Babe to cool her heels on the sidelines but it may have done her the world of good.
She started well from box five and never looked in danger of defeat, downing Hong Ha by over three lengths.
Strutt is the first grade manager of Group Nine club Southcity and there are a couple of Bulls officials, Corey Levy and Rod Porter, own the bitch.
He’s hoping the win is the first of many for the Bulls who travel to Tumut to tackle the Blues before the last round of the finals.
