A win against Kangaroos at Equex Centre on Saturday will guarantee the Wagga side a date with Southcity in the first week of the finals, and they have been boosted by the two forwards coming back from injury.
Both were causalities from the loss to the Bulls in round 14 and missed the loss to Young.
Coach Terry Westblade hopes their return can help bring back some spark missing last week.
“They both are valuable members of the team with their talk and understanding of knowing what is happening,” Westblade said.
“It will be good.”
With Wynne back at hooker Joe Leggatt has shifted to five-eighth with Brad Cain going back to the bench.
Westblade wanted more experience in his halves.
“I’ve gone with Joe as he played really well last week,” he said. “I was quite happy with Brad too, but I’ve just with a wiser head.
“No disrespect to Brad, but he can cover a lot of spots and that is his benefit off the bench.”
Will Merritt is also set to come off the bench.
