But that is what they got, after a vehicle was set on fire at about 7.45am.
Firefighters from Turvey Park Fire and Rescue NSW were joined by volunteers of the NSW Rural Fire Service at the top of Holbrook Road, where a Nissan Patrol had been set alight in the bush scrub.
Gaining access via Melia place, senior firefighter Mark Edis said it took crews about 45 minutes to extinguish the blaze.
Mr Edis said they arrived to the car “heavily involved in flames”, with a “decent amount of diesel, leaking onto the ground”.
Tuesday’s incident was the 44th car fire this year, according to Mr Edis.
The small inferno at Lloyd has added to the growing tally of burned out cars this year, with three fires recorded across Wagga in one week.
