Kooringal moved three points clear in second position after upsetting New Kids in their A grade clash at Wagga Netball Centre last Saturday.

The first half of the game saw New Kids get into a rhythm and hold a three-goal lead.

New Kids centre court Rachael Addison fed the ball into shooters Cloe Hildebrand and Flynn Hogg, who shot accurately.

Kooringal defenders Lea Kerr and Phoebe Wallace worked tirelessly to help Kooringal turn the game around.

New Kids defence Kate Bell and Ella Fellows played tight on Kooringal shooters Lauren Cooper and Sophie Fawns, who were shooting from every position in the goal circle.

In the end, Kooringal were able to just keep New Kids at bay and win the game.

Meantime, Shooting Stars produced a big last quarter to snatch a 39-all draw with Turvey Park on Saturday.

Shooting Stars and Turvey Park played a very competitive game with neither team relinquishing to defeat.

Turvey Park took off in the first quarter with defenders Jaimee Smith and Della Winnel creating many opportunities for their team.

The second quarter saw Shooting Stars start to catch up with shooters Brooke Harpley and Erin Brown making use of the opportunities that they were given under the post by centre court players Brodie Jaques and Bridgett Dill.

Turvey Park shooters Morgan Watts and Leila Wadley worked hard in the third quarter to help their team take the lead into the fourth quarter.

The last quarter saw Shooting Stars catch up eight goals for the game to finish in a 39-all draw.

In the final A grade game of the round, Uranquinty maintained their undefeated start to the season with a 63-48 win over CSU Reddies.

In a strong game, Reddies shooters Bonnie Keys and Hannah Williams shot consistently against Uranquinty defenders Claire Wallace and Georgia Tilyard.

Olivia Tilyard and Matilda Vearing were strong in the centre court for Uranquinty, feeding shooters Lana Duffy and Hannah Finemore, who converted the teams hard work with accuracy.

Reddies centre court Rachel Kirk and Melanie Vidler also worked hard trying to provide their team with as many possibilities to score.

In the end Uranquinty pulled away to win the game 63-48.
