Players from as far away as Werribee when on hand to take part with 111 teams taking part.
Sides from around the Riverina dominated the entries but teams from Canberra, Yass and Cowra also took part.
It was the 75th running of the carnival and while numbers were down on last year there were a number of added extras.
Pat Walsh was made a life member after being involved for nearly 40 years helping while Evan Harris donated pennants he won playing during the 1950s.
They will be put on display at the Junee Museum.
Secretary Maree Allamby also thanked carnival stalwarts Phil and Lola Cummins for their many years of dedication as they announced plans to step away from official roles.
The action didn’t stop on Saturday with 50 teams and well over 500 players involved in the inaugural leaguetag carnival on Sunday.
