The Sharks and Strikers are fighting to break into the top four and did themselves no favours in a gritty tie that gave South Wagga and Tolland a little extra breathing room.
The Warriors will be particularly relieved after ending up on the wrong end of a Leonard Cup boilover against Wagga United.
The ladies in orange produced a 2-1 upset that saw South Wagga slip to fourth on the ladder.
In the game of the round, Henwood Park emerged 3-0 victors over fellow premiership hopefuls Junee at Burns Park.
Brooke Gaylor scored a brace while Maddie Harris rounded out the Hawks’ triple.
“Junee had a few girls out with injuries and the like, but we played good football and the win puts back to first on the ladder,” Henwood Park coach Rod Buik said.
“We have Tolland next and they’ll be tough.”
