Wagga High bagged the first goal but their lead didn’t last as the 2017 runners up shifted gears, slamming 10 unanswered goals in a 50-minute blitz.
Sophie Crouch was the chief destroyer for Kooringal with a scarcely believable six-goal haul for the night.
In the evening’s later Shipard Shield fixture, Mount Austin High School produced an early upset by toppling The Riverina Anglican College in a 2-1 thriller.
TRAC opened the scoring and looked comfortable before Mount Austin players Wafaa Khalaf and Christina Grauer-Kompos bagged goals to steal the game.
